Jared Thompson didn’t allow a single run against Greenwood, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Decatur Central Hawks to a 11-0 victory on Tuesday
Decatur Central Hawks opened up scoring in the first inning, when Bryce Lewman doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Decatur Central Hawks notched four runs in the third inning. The offensive onslaught by Decatur Central Hawks was led by Nolan Wade, Derik Profitt, Casey Martin, and Devon Davis, all driving in runs in the inning.
One bright spot for Greenwood was a double by Price in the third inning.
Thompson took the win for Decatur Central Hawks . He allowed one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out 11 and walking zero.
