JV started off the season will a redemption win against Bloomington North. This was the first game for coaches Sienne Ransom and Maddie Briggeman with this group. They got the lead early off of a Heaven Hood 3 pointer and never looked back. Their defensive efforts are what helped them get and keep the lead. The Lady Hawks went into halftime with a 15-9 lead. The Lady Cougars came out hot in the third and cut the Lady Hawks lead with a few quick 3s. ButLady Hawks were able to hold off the Lady Cougars with a few great defensive stops and hustle plays and won their first game of the season 28-25.
