Game Recap

The JV Lady Hawks lost a heartbreaker by the score of 30-29 to the Cascade Cadets on Tuesday night. The Hawks trailed by 9 after quarter 1, but then outscored the Cadets in the 2nd quarter 11-4 going into halftime only down 2.

The second half saw the lead swing back and forth. There were 10 lead changes in the half. The Lady Hawk battled hard and just feel short. A lot to be proud of as the JV girls showed the fight that will definitely lead to victories in the near future.

Alayna Allen led all scorers with a 10 point explosion. A magic moment for her included, a clutch floater to give the Hawks a brief lead in the 4th quarter. Maddie Wachnicki added 4 points and showed poise in helping the team handle the tough full court press put on by the Cadets.

The next JV contest will be verses conference foe Whiteland. That game will be Tuesday November 22. Game time will be 6PM.
