HALL OF FAME NIGHT
A distinguished class of inductees was accepted into the Decatur Central Athletic Hall of Fame on Aug. 25 at the Hawk football game vs. Perry Meridian. The new Hall of Fame members are (from left) Bob Belden, 2008 graduate and state champion discus thrower; Stephen Langston, three sport star and 1971 graduate;
Amy Cozad Magaña, 2009 graduate and Olympic diver; and Donnie McCoy, 2001 graduate and recording breaking running back.
The 2017 Decatur Central Athletic Hall of Fame Honor Team was made up of members of the undefeated football teams of the 1968-69, 1969-70 and 1970-71 seasons along with their coaches and cheerleaders.
