Game Recap

An early lead helped Decatur Central Hawks defeat Whiteland 4-1 on Tuesday. Decatur Central Hawks took the lead on a single in the second inning.

Decatur Central Hawks captured the lead in the second inning. Casey Martin drove in one when he singled in the second inning.

Bradley Brehmer earned the win for Decatur Central Hawks . He tossed seven innings, allowing one run, four hits, striking out nine, and walking one. Robinson took the loss for Whiteland. He went six innings, surrendering four runs, seven hits, and striking out three.

Trent Grogan went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Decatur Central Hawks in hits. Decatur Central Hawks didn’t commit a single error in the field. Alex Mitchell had the most chances in the field with nine.

Watson went 1-for-3 at the plate as he led the team with one run batted in.
