Decatur Central Hawks watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 4-2 loss to Ben Davis on Monday. Ben Davis scored on a double by Donté McCraig and a wild pitch in the second inning.

Ben Davis took an early lead in the second inning. An error scored one run for Ben Davis.

Zyon Avery earned the win for Ben Davis. He tossed five innings, allowing two runs, three hits, and striking out four. Nolan Wade took the loss for Decatur Central Hawks . He went six innings, allowing four runs, six hits, striking out four, and walking one.

Trent Grogan led Decatur Central Hawks with one run batted in. He went 1-for-2 on the day.
